TARDIS

It has recently come to my attention that there is some confusion concerning exactly what a TARDIS (Time And Relative Dimensions In Space) looks like. If you are a true fan of Dr. Who you should already know what a TARDIS is and what one looks like. Dr. Who's TARDIS is in the shape of a police call box, NOT a phone booth! This is what Dr. Who's TARDIS actually looks like:

Fig. 1 TARDIS
Exterior view

Fig. 2 TARDIS
Interior view: it's "dimensionally trancendental"; larger inside than it is out

WARNING!
The following items must not be confused with a TARDIS:

TELEPHONE CALL BOX
(Not even close!)

TURDIS
(Temporary User Relief
Directly In Shithouse)
Also known as a port-o-let.

TORTOISE
In Florida, these are called "gophers". No, I don't know why.

Even though you may now be confused about tortoises, I hope these illustrations clear up any confusion you may have had about the TARDIS. If you are still confused, please visit the OFFICIAL DR. WHO WEB SITE for more information

Thank you,
Barefoot Pete

I recently received an email from Darren, a TRUE Dr. Who fan in the UK. Here's what he said:

Subject: Correction!

In response to your web page that aims to clear up the confusion as to what a Tardis looks like, if you were a TRUE Dr Who fan, you would know that A TARDIS does NOT look like a Police Box. It is true that the Dr's looks like a Police Box (not through choice). Who CAN say what A TARDIS looks like-doesnt it usually depend on its immediate surroundings!!
